Want to go backstage at some of Fashion Week 2012’s hottest shows? Stick with us! The look du jour? The hairstyle at L.A.M.B.

Lead stylist: Danilo
Hair-spiration: “The look was rockabilly meets Diane Arbus images,” Danilo said. “She’s a cool chick who pulls herself together in the morning. It has a do-it-yourself element to it, like she threw it up before walking out the door.”
Fashion inspiration: Designer Gwen Stefani drew hairstyle inspiration from a photo from the ’60s for her fall 2012 collection.
Get the hairstyle
- Set hair on the top of head in large hot rollers to create volume at the crown.
- Once you’ve removed the rollers and the hair has cooled, spray Oribe Hair Care Dry Texturizing Spray throughout hair and use Danilo’s French Lacing technique, which involves back-combing the hair with a brush rather than a comb.
- Create a low side part and pull hair back, pinning it into a bouffant shape by folding the hair over itself. Leave the pins visible to enhance the “do-it-yourself” feel.
- Spray on more Oribe Hair Care Dry Texturizing Spray to finish off your look!
