Etsy is an online marketplace where hundreds of thousands of creative people from more than 150 countries sell their handmade crafty goodness. Each week, we’re featuring a handful of our favorite items in our Etsy Roundup. On the menu this week: Winter wreaths.
Winter decor for your door!
Wreaths aren’t just for Christmas. You can hang a wreath all year long to add some color and decor to your door or wall. We headed to Etsy to find great handmade wreaths for your home.
If you’re hunting for an original wreath, look no further than A Work of Heart SA, our featured seller in this week’s Etsy roundup. You might have trouble choosing a single winter wreath with so many great options. Two sisters run A Work of Heart SA, creating home decor and gifts inspired by the seasons. You can find them on Twitter, Facebook or on their blog, A Work of Heart.
Burlap and berries
Greet your guests with this burlap and berries rustic wreath ($75) on your front door. The seller describes it perfectly: Pip berries and larger berries in rich red surround an extra-large grapevine twig wreath base. A burlap bow with a touch of tartan finishes off this winsome wreath.
The holidays are over, but the white winter certain isn’t. Hang this white winter wonderland wreath ($65) on your front door for the rest of the cold season. As the Etsy seller points out, it’s perfect for the entire winter season — from November through February. If the bow is a little too holiday for you, just remove it.
New Year’s Wreath
Welcome 2012 with a pearl berry New Year’s wreath ($55). Full of rich, creamy berry clusters tucked into a 10-inch willow ring, this wreath would be beautiful on your front door or an interior wall. You can also repurpose the wreath for a wedding, anniversary or bridal shower.
Sea swirl pip
The sea swirl pip berry wreath ($65) will give you visions of the beach and ocean in the middle of winter. The best part is the colors — they may conjure images of the sea, but they’re still perfect for the cold winter months. This wreath also works well over a mantel, on a table as a centerpiece or hanging on your wall.
