Escape the chilly weather and head to shopping centers in the Chicago and Minneapolis areas for PJs & Paws Holiday Dog Walks benefiting the Animal Rescue Team of the Humane Society of the United States.
All guests attending PJs & Paws Holiday Dog Walks will delight in an early-morning stroll around the mall amid festive holiday decor. One lucky pup at each event will leave with a fantastic dog-friendly getaway! Dogs and their owners will also enjoy pampering and treats like puppy pedis, mini dog massages, pup-parazzi photos, toys, games and goodie bags. There will also be a cutest dog contest. Winners will be chosen by local celeb judges and win a special Q & A feature on Tails Magazine‘s website, KN Karen Neuburger PJs and a relaxing one-night stay at a dog-friendly resort!
To celebrate the special bond between owner and pet, KN Karen Neuburger would like to invite all guests (human and four-legged) to sport similar styles for the events – in specialty KN attire, of course! The $25 entry fee for the event will be waived for those paw-fect pairs that don KN Karen Neuburger, so remember that Fido’s fashion is an integral part of the festivities! Pajama sets and dog jackets can be purchased at Carson’s or Herberger’s in the days leading up to the event, or onsite before the walk.
Chicago event details
On Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 8 to 10 a.m., pooches and their pals are invited out to the Yorktown Center event (233 York Township, Lombard, Illinois). Participants are asked to meet at the interior entrance of Carson’s, on the lower level.
Minneapolis event details
On Friday, Nov. 18, from 8 to 10 a.m., pooches and their pals are invited to the Rosedale Center event (10 Rosedale Center, Roseville, Minnesota). Participants are asked to meet at the interior entrance of Herberger’s on the lower level.
