Like most women, you probably have a few favorite fragrances that you have been using for years. However, if you want to try something new, there are a variety of wonderful fragrances to choose from. Here are our choices for the top 15 new fragrances of 2008.

Woman Spraying Perfume

Absolutely Irresistible Givenchy

This rich fragrance from Givenchy features notes of green mandarin orange, red berries, red pepper, Egyptian jasmine, orange blossom, heliotrope, cedar, patchouli and amber. It is a glamorous fragrance that is fronted by brand spokesmodel Liv Tyler.

Anna Sui Night of Fancy

Anna Sui Night of Fancy

This latest fragrance from Anna Sui has blueberry top notes and also features grapefruit, wild strawberries and jasmine. It’s a youthful scent that is strong when first applied, but dries into a delicious blueberry powder scent. And the bottle is fabulous!

Beckham Signature for Her

This romantic fragrance from the Beckhams’ line, dubbed Signature for Her, is a fruity, floral scent scent with top notes of anise and candy apple. It also features orchid and vanilla, which is very evident, along with base notes of patchouli, amber and musk.

Bond No. 9 Andy Warhol Union Square

This is the second fragrance in Bond No. 9’s Andy Warhol series. It’s a floral scent that is soft and fresh. Featuring Lily of the Valley and sweet blue freesia, you definitely have to love invigorating florals to like this scent. Priced at $135 for 1.7 oz, you better try it before you buy it.

Coach Legacy Fragrance

Coach Legacy

When you think of Coach, you think of handbags not perfume. However, you will like this fragrance. It offers a fresh, casual scent that combines florals with vanilla and woody tones. The Coach signature fragrance is priced at $75 for a 1.7 oz eu de parfum or $45 for the purse spray.

Covet Pure Bloom by Sarah Jessica Parker

A follow up to her Covet fragrance, Covet Pure Bloom is Sarah Jessica Parker’s latest fragrance sold through the Home Shopping Network. It’s sensual, feminine and flirty – kind of like SJP herself. If you like sweet, tropical florals, this one is a good choice.

Curious Heart Britney Spears

Though you might disagree with all Britney’s personal antics, her perfume is actually pretty good. Curious Heart is a limited edition version of her previous fragrance curious in a pink tatoo-inspired bottle.

Estee Lauder Sensuous

This complex fragrance from Estee Lauder offers a mix of notes that are woody, spicy and floral. Initially you can smell the sweet florals, but as the fragrance dries it turns into a woody, warm scent that is inviting. This long-lasting fragrance was relased in the summer but it’s perfect for fall.

Kenzo Winter Flowers

Flower By Kenzo Winter Flowers

This powdery floral fragrance is one of my favorites of the year. Flower by Kenzo Winter Flowers features Hellebore rose (Christmas rose), which is a medicinal, magical flower that blooms in December. This fragrance offers a floral mix with mandarin, vanilla and other delicious scents.

Guerlain Cruel Gardenia

One of the more expensive fragrances on this list, Guerlain Cruel Gardenia is priced at $220 for an 80 ml bottle. It features notes of damask rose, neroli, peach, violent, white musks, vanilla and sandalwood. It has a rich scent that powdery and feminine.

Jean Paul Gaultier Classique Summer Fragrance

This is a new version of the classic JPG fragrance and it’s much younger and fresher. Released in the summer of 2008, it features top notes of rose accords, orange blossom and Sicilian lemon juice. The mid notes are jasmine, white iris and other floral scents, while the base is vanilla, musk and amber.

Kate Moss Velvet Hour

Kate Moss Velvet Hour

Supermodel Kate Moss‘s second scent is a sexy, evening fragrance. Velvet Hour is spicy and seductive with its patchouli, sandalwood, black pepper and nutmeg. It’s available in a variety of sizes from 15 ml to 100 ml.

Paris Hilton Fairy Dust

Fairy Dust is a fruity floral fragrance from Paris Hilton that features pink peony, orange blossom, water lily, vanilla crème, peach nectar and gardenia. It’s definitely sweet but not so sweet that it’s too much. Celebrity perfumes are oftentimes atrocious, but this is nice and a terrific option for daily wear.

Vera Wang Flower Princess

The flanker to Vera Wang’s 2006 Princess fragrance, Flower Princess is an oriental floral with notes of green ivy, tangerine, water lily, orange flower petals, apricot, mimosa and more. It’s more floral than the original fragrance and has a youthful quality about it.

Versace Pour Homme for Men

This is a simple yet strong men’s fragrance. It’s masculine but not overpowering at all. Versace takes a very minimalistic approach with this cologne and the result is outstanding.
