Pisa, Italy, is one of most beautiful Tuscan towns — famous worldwide for its leaning tower. But there’s much more to discover in this Italian city!
While the Leaning Tower has brought it fame, Pisa has many jewels. For example — as this walking tour video will show — you can enjoy the beautiful vista of the banks of the river Arno, an ancient market located in the heart of the town (Piazza dei Cavalieri), the famous Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles) with the Duomo (The Cathedral), the Battistero (The Baptistery)… along with the Torre di Pisa (The [Leaning] Tower of Pisa).
Finally, there’s the Normale University, where Galileo Galilei was a professor of mathematics during the sixteenth century. (Galileo is considered to be the father of modern astronomy, modern physics and modern science.)
