We Love the Way These Brands are Celebrating Pride

There are a lot of reasons to love the month of June but the fact that it’s Pride Month is probably our favorite. The 30-day celebration honors those who stood up to discrimination and to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred in June 1969. It also recognizes those who are still marginalized today and it brings awareness to an important cause: equality. Plus, it means the streets are full of color — and who doesn’t like that?! But it isn’t just members of the LGBTQIA+ community who are observing this essential and meaningful event, many allies and businesses are celebrating Pride.

Here are a few of the ways some of our favorite brands are celebrating Pride Month.

WorldPride, the official LGBTQIA+ celebration hosted by a different city each year kicks off in New York this year on June 26. To celebrate WorldPride, AriZona Iced Tea is teaming up with the It Gets Better Project and they want you to spill the tea. How? Well, they are encouraging their fans to share their favorite Pride moment, using the hashtag #SpillTheTea and tagging @DrinkAriZona. For every post shared, AriZona will donate $9.99 to the It Gets Better Project which provides critical support and hope to LGBTQIA+ young people around the world.
