Goodshop Sunday will help you save big and give back while holiday shopping

You’ve heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and maybe even Small Business Saturday and Giving Tuesday. But did you know there’s another shopping holiday, one where you can get presents for everyone, save money and give back to charities?

Kicking off the holiday shopping season this November 27, Goodshop Sunday is the perfect opportunity for online holiday shoppers to earn big bucks for causes while they shop. It’s a triple threat of giving back – you can give gifts to your loved ones, give back to causes you care about, and give your wallet a break.

The best part though is that on Goodshop Sunday, donations to charities and causes are increased (in some cases doubled!). What’s even more amazing is that after two years of success, Goodshop is offering the same donation-multiplying power every Sunday, starting October 23, and extending through Giving Tuesday (November 29) and Cyber Week (November 28 – December 4.)

So in the spirit of giving, here are some great offers from merchants that will be available starting this Goodshop Sunday and continuing. Happy shopping, saving and holidays!

Shoes

If you know someone who’s looking for the perfect pair of kicks, Goodshop Sunday merchants have lots of offers to choose from. Kenneth Cole will have a site-wide sale up to 35 percent off and you’ll donate eight percent to your favorite cause. Converse has new products in their clearance and up to 40 percent off marked down items. Reebok also has a great selection of sneakers and will increase their donation to eight percent.

Clothing

Whether your sister wants some new yoga pants, dad could use a new sweater or you want to find the best scarf for your best friend, there are plenty of deals to choose from. Gaiam is offering 20 percent off yoga gear plus free shipping on orders over $75 and you’ll give over 18 percent back. With deals from Macy’s you can find sweaters, scarves and any other apparel while giving back to your favorite cause. Other stores such as J. Crew Factory, A’gaci, Frank & Oak and Wet Seal will also have deals during Goodshop Sunday.

Food

Maybe you’re looking for a gift to send to your boss or a last-minute gift for the host of a holiday party. These merchants are offering some great gift ideas to make sure your friends, family and coworkers don’t go hungry. Tate’s Bake Shop is offering 20 percent off any order and donates 3 percent back. Cafe Britt provides some great options for premium coffees, chocolate and specialty items.

Other Gift Ideas

Sometimes finding the perfect gift for someone is difficult. But these stores have lots of options to choose from so that no matter what you get, you’ll still get to donate to a nonprofit or cause. Scented products for the home and body are always a good idea, so why not save 20 percent on a gift from Fruits & Passion? Jewelry is another good idea, and with Littman Jewelers modern and chic jewelry you can save money and donate five percent as well.
