For some it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own their dream house, but the Saskatoon Hospital Home Lottery is about much more than just an incredible shot at luck.
It costs a pretty penny to enter, $100 for one entry, but all the funds are going to an incredible cause, as they will be divided equally between Saskatoon’s three hospital foundations — St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation, the City Hospital Foundation and Royal University Hospital Foundation — and be used to improve health and patient care
Total value of the prizes is approximately $2 million including taxes and includes a 2017 Porsche Macan S plus a Tahiti Vacation or take $75,000 cash (the early bird), a trip a year for the next three years to a different Hawaiian Island (the bonus prize), and the grand prize of a $1.6 million show home, as well as $10,000 bonus cash.
On Wednesday, the organization held its official launch for the 2016 Hospital Home Lottery, and the house — or shall we rather say mansion — is absolutely spectacular. Located in the Willows neighbourhood in Saskatoon, the property offers anything you could ever dream of owning.
The foyer is exceptional.
But as you see more of the home you will be even more impressed.
It boasts a master bedroom complete with an incredible bathroom, closet and powder room.
According to Global News, the 4,300 square-foot home was built by Valentino Homes and professionally furnished by Atmosphere Interior Design.
There are also two other en suite bedrooms and a third, no-less impressive basement bedroom.
All the rooms are all professionally decorated and extremely tasteful.
And to top it all off, there is also a gym!
If still images aren’t enough to get a real feel for the home, there’s also a short video clip.
The first draw is for the Bonus Prize on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016. The next draw is for the Early Bird draw; then draws are made in the order of least retail value up to the Grand Prize.
