Woman dances with a Christmas tree and wins the Internet (WATCH)
Think cats and toddlers pose the greatest risk to your Christmas tree? Nope — it's young women who, following a boozy festive night out, decide to use it as a dancing partner.
We've all had worse ideas when under the influence of a few too many mulled wines, right?
Emma Donnell, from Ballymena in Northern Ireland, posted the 30-second video of her festive tango on her Twitter account with the caption "My ma is gonna kill me. Why do I drink" and in only two days it has been retweeted and liked thousands of times.
The 19-year-old told the Daily Mail that she had been on a night out, came home at around 5 a.m. and "didn't want the night to end," so she decided to belt out the 1981 hit "Don't Stop Believin'" while swaying to and fro with her arms tightly clasped around the family Christmas tree.
It only takes a couple of seconds to work out how this is going to end but that doesn't stop it being hilarious.
"I completely forgot I did it until the next morning when I looked at my videos," Emma confessed. "My mum has seen it and she is never trusting me alone again, but she is starting to see the funny side now."
