Syrian refugees receive a warm Canadian welcome on arrival in Toronto

Last night 163 Syrian refugees arrived in Canada, and they were greeted by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, amongst other well-wishers and aid workers.

This group is the first of 25,000 refugees who are being relocated to Canada, and they’ve received an overwhelmingly warm reception so far, with even children participating.

And messages of peace and love are pouring in from all over the country.

First-generation Canadians are chiming in as well.

And everybody agrees — it’s a good day to be Canadian.
