Awesome Dark Swan Halloween makeup for Once Upon a Time fans

When good becomes evil, one’s looks often change too. In the case of Ella Swan from Once Upon a Time, she takes on an icy, ethereal appearance when she is reborn as the dark one. Emma’s transformation into the Dark Swan is surprisingly bright and glowing. This look is really fun to recreate, especially if you have darker hair and brows as it makes for a super-dramatic change.

You will need:

• Luminescent primer
• White cream color
• White eyeliner pencil
• Shimmery white eyeshadow
• Loose silver glitter
• Silver liquid liner
• Cherry red lip liner
• Matte red lip color

Directions:

Step 1:

I’m first priming my face with a luminescent primer. L’Oreal’s Magic Lumi Primer is a great one.

Step 2:

Lightly apply a white cream color with a damp beautyblender.

Step 3:

Using a jumbo pearlescent white eyeliner pencil, sketch over eyelids and blend with finger.

Step 4:

With the same eyeliner pencil, apply a generous amount to the tops of your cheekbones and orbital bone.

Step 5:

With a silver liquid liner like Urban Decay’s Bobby Dazzle, line the top lash line.

Step 6:

With your pearly white pencil, sketch along lower lash line.

Step 7:

Apply pearly white liner to the inner corners of your eyes.

Step 8:

With a matte white jumbo liner like NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk, cover entire eyebrow until it’s as white as possible. If you have dark brows, you’ll likely need to build up a few layers.

Step 9:

Press a shimmery white eyeshadow onto the high point of your face and dust it over your eyelids as well.

Step 10:

With a silver glitter liner, add a touch to the inner corners of the eyes for some extra frostiness.

Step 11:

Press loose silver glitter across forehead and on the tops of your cheekbones.

Step 12:

With a synthetic brush, paint white cream color onto your hair. Spraying with hairspray prior will help the color to adhere better.

Step 13:

Line lips with a red lip liner. OCC Colour Pencil in NSFW is a great shade for this.

Step 14:

Add the finishing touch by applying a blue-based red lip color like BITE Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencil in Cranberry.

Step 15:

You’ve crossed over to the dark side, Black Swan.
