Femvertising Awards set to honor brands that empower women

Women represent a $7 trillion market and control 85 percent of household purchasing decisions. It’s time brands realize that if women are the ones purchasing goods and services, their voices should be heard when they ask for more diverse and realistic depictions of themselves shown in advertising.

At BlogHer15: Experts Among Us, we plan on honoring those brands that are listening with the 2015 Femvertising Awards.

The deadline for entries is April 28, 2015. Representation and inclusion matter. Brands that reflect who we are as women (and men) have our ears and our wallets. We’re excited to have this opportunity to honor brands that get why this is so important, not just for us but for our kids too.
