Santa Paws

What is it? Santa is coming to the RSPCA this November! So whether your pup has been naughty or nice this year, he or she is invited to get a photo taken with Mr. Claus himself. Head over to the RSPCA Victoria website for more info.

When and where? November at RSPCA Burwood East and RSPCA Pets Place Epping. Bookings open now!

Peninsula Pet Expo 2013

What is it? The Peninsula Pet Expo 2013 is set to be a fun day out for all the family. The event is free to attend and there’s something for everyone, including opportunities to speak to local vets and dog trainers, information about pet ownership, pet product displays and activities, including natural horsemanship, working dog demonstrations, marsupial displays, lure racing and more. There’s even an excuse to break out the doggy outfits, with great prizes on the day for categories, including Best Dressed Pet. Check it out here.

When and where? Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Village Green, Rosebud.

Mitchell Shire Council Pet Expo

What is it? Take your pup along to the Mitchell Shire Council Pet Expo, an event to celebrate the importance of pets. There’s no shortage of activities to take part in, with displays, demonstrations, shows, rides and activities for you and your pooch. You can even be a proud stage mummy and enter your pup in a competition. Click here for details.

When and where? Nov. 16, 2013, from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. at Hadfield Park, High Street Walla.

RSPCA Million Paws Walk

What is it? Join the RSPCA’s Million Paws Walk and help fight animal cruelty. Money raised from this nationwide event will help fund the crucial work of the RSPCA, including the care of over 30,000 animals entering their shelters each year. Head over to the Million Paws Walk Victoria website for more information and to register (registration opens early 2014).

When and where? 2014, in locations around Victoria.
