DIY Sparkling Mason jar candle holders

I love setting the table with candles. Check out this easy DIY project to turn your plain Mason jars into a beautiful sparkling table setting for fall.

Step 1: Collect gold spray paint (I prefer a matte finish) and 1/2-pint Mason jars. Be sure to lay down newspaper or a plastic sheet so you don't get gold spray everywhere. Spray these from a distance to get an even coat on the jars.

Step 2: Once sprayed, move them out of the spot they are sprayed in to avoid sticking. I used 1/2-pint Mason jar candle holders, but any size can work.

I love the way the sprayed Mason jars look as well. Time for a finishing touch.

Step 3: Add craft glue to the rim of each Mason jar. I used clear gel craft glue.

Much like salting the rim of a margarita glass (which I happen to be an expert at), lightly dip your glue rim into the tinsel glitter.

Adding glue and glitter to the entire rim on these would be pretty as well.
