Is this slick frameless phone the smartphone of the future?

Sharp unveiled a new smartphone that’s got everyone talking. The new Aquos Crystal series has a slim, “frameless” display screen that spans the entire face of the device. A model with a 5.5-inch screen will debut in Japan at the end of the year.
The Aquos Crystal will be available in the U.S. exclusively through Sprint and come in both black and white. An exact availability date hasn’t been announced yet.

Although there are only plans to launch the phone in the U.S. and Japan, the new design has grabbed the attention of smartphone enthusiasts around the world.

Aside from its cool design, the device can also take 999 photos in a row, has a battery sturdy enough to last as long as 72 hours and even comes with wireless speakers.
