Whether she goes home with a Grammy tonight or not, singer/songwriter Colbie Caillat definitely struck the right style note on the red carpet in a ravishing red dress.
Colbie Caillat is up for an award in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category tonight, and now, thanks to her stunning style, we’d like to personally nominate her for a best-dressed award! Seriously, she couldn’t have been more spot-on with her to-die-for Grammys fashion choice.
The red haute couture gown, created by Dubai designer Ezra Santos, featured romantic red flower detail at the neck and chest (as well as on the back and butt) and showcased a sliver of skin in front as well as revealing a sexy-yet-sophisticated sheer back.
“I tried on a bunch of dresses and then I put this one on and we all just… it was a no-brainer,” she told E!’s Giuliana Rancic on the red carpet. And for good reason. The dress hugged her curves in all the right places and was very classy (love that train!) with a modern edge, courtesy of the cutouts.
Caillat kept her jewelry minimal, donning Claude Morady 1930s vintage diamonds. As for her hair, she went with a playful twisted-up top knot that really allowed her red dress to take center stage.
