Product review: Michael Todd Cleanse and Tone

Michael Todd True Organics skin care is all the rage among bloggers and celebrities. The products are organic and don’t have any of those nasty ingredients like sulfates or parabens. But one product claims to tackle two skin care steps at the same time. We can’t pass up a two-in-one, so we gave it a shot!

Product review: Michael Todd cleanse and toneName this product:

Michael Todd True Organics Cleanse and Tone One Step Cleanser/Toner ($19)

What the product claims to do:

A three-in-one facial cleanser-toner-makeup remover that cleans deeply to remove impurities while also toning the skin.

How it worked for me:

I really enjoyed this product. I felt like it really got into my pores to help remove makeup and toned at the same time. Cleansing is a must for me but sometimes I skip the step. This product forces me to, which I love!

How this product looks and feels:

The bottle has a pump and is light enough for travel, but still has tons of product. It features light charcoal beads that really get into pores and gently remove grime.

What I liked about this product:

I loved the light, gritty texture of this cleanser and that it cut down my cleansing and toning to only one step. I felt like it did a great job of cleaning my skin and left it with a glow.

I would recommend this product for:

Anyone who wants to take the day off with a great product that cleanses and tones in one step! I think it would work for dry skin as well as oily.
