Fashionable athletic gear from runway to gym

We maintain: Going to the gym is no excuse not to be adorable. In fact, cute fitness attire is a great motivator to put said outfit on — and get sweating. Here are some of our favorite new gym finds. So, find your new look — and then get shimmying into it!

Double duty workout

Proskins SLIM are champion multitaskers: They moisturize your skin and give your lymphatic drainage a workout — just by wearing them! That’s the minimal effort I enjoy. This is especially perfect during the cooler months as our body tends to be more sedentary — plus, they come in pretty pastel shades such as pink, blue, purple and emerald green. (, $120)

Another great find is Zaggora HotPants: The signature leggings target your hips, bum and thighs by enhancing your natural body temperature to warm you up in the areas you want to target most. (, $45)

Chillyjilly Lounge Pants

When you finish your workout, chances are it’ll be a while before you move on with your day — there are juice bars to take advantage of, trainers to confer with and errands to run. I love to pull on a pair of Chilly Jilly Lounge Pants — they are wrinkle-resistant micro fiber, so they can get scrunched in your gym bag and live to tell the story, and feature a fold over waistband and a long inseam. (Related, the brand also has a bracelet that doubles as a hair tie that I’m obsessed with). (, $40)

Say it with ruffles

We live for ruffles in our party dresses. It’s so fun to kick it up a notch! Ruffle Uni is adorable and perfect for making an entrance at our next yoga class! (, $65)

If you can’t get enough ruffles, you may want to check out the Break a sweat Workout tank at our favorite Etsy shop. The tanks are full of bows and ruffles, but also important, great motivational messages! (, $22)

Carry smartly

If yoga is your passion, you probably carry your own mat around most days. We love this Patchwork Yoga Mat Bag (, $42) — makes even the most casual of yoga mats feel totally elegant.

While you are at it, though, why not treat yourself to a super-cute mat? Love this pink zebra print mat from My Fit Basics! (, $18)

Cutely comfortable

Keds are great — and have been around forever. Whether you are going for a brisk walk or doing light exercise, you may just want these in your wardrobe. Also, check out these fab pink and dotted Keds x kate spade new york Pointer. (, $85)

If you need a bit more support in your workout, I live in my Therafit sneakers in Deborah Pink. Yes, they are bold and loud, but so is my ideal fitness routine! (, $95)

Ked shoes from Kate Spade and Deborah Pink shoes from Therafit

Just headed to (shoeless) yoga and need to sashay into the gym looking smart yet hot? We’re so smitten with sneaker wedges that will keep your feet comfortable, trendy and give some extra height. These shoes are also great for ladies with high arches, as their feet are often more comfortable in heels. For easy removal at airport security, buy a pair like the Type 2 Phantom (, $59) that have Velcro straps!

If it hasn’t been readily apparent, we are seriously in love with pink — and pink shoes — but sometimes, you have to speak to the bigger issues. These Marmalade Low Tops by Inkkas (, $65) are handmade in Peru using authentic South American textiles. Even better, 10 percent of each sale goes to preserving the Amazon rain forest! That means you’ll feel good, look good AND do good.

Support is key

Champion Athleticwear has a new sports bra called the Show-Off which promises to “beat the bounce” while maintaining our curves — the good curves, that is.
