Etsy is such an incredible buying and selling community, full of funk and elegance, hard work and talent and some of the coolest products you can find. But, wading through all the shops to find what interests you can be exhausting. I’ve rounded up three Etsy shops that I think are some of the best around. Happy browsing!
According to the seller, this jewelry collection is for women who “possess the power to turn the ordinary into extraordinary.” Based in Paris, this Etsy shop creates one-of-a-kind pieces using mainly zippers. Ordinary to extraordinary, get it? Many of the pieces give off an elegant, structural art deco vibe that I’m really digging. My favorite piece is the bright orange alien zipper necklace ($110). Prices range from $75 to $350 and RebourneJewelry does accept custom item requests.
Need a new jacket for fall? Skip the mall and head on over to Laura Galic’s Etsy shop. The designs feature asymmetrical cuts with well-placed ruffles and ruching that flatter a woman’s curves. Some are a little more costumey than others, but there’s something for everyone! And one of the best parts? These jackets are affordable! Prices range from $100 to $320, which is not bad for a custom-made jacket. My pick is the Enia jacket in white ($180). It’s edgy and can be worn over anything! The shop also features dresses, but I by far prefer the jackets.
Driftwood and fossil
I’m a big Free People fan (I absolutely adore their styling!) and this boho-chic Etsy shop is reminiscent of that look. Driftwood and fossil specializes in hand-dyed scarves and bags that are made from eco-friendly materials and dyes. The easy-going organic look to these items takes my breath away. Scoop up a clutch to use as a quick bag while running errands, or purchase a scarf that you can throw on and go star gazing in. Prices in this shop range from $20 to $70. My favorite? The night sky leather clutch ($35).
