how to make lolly jewellery
What you need:
- A bag of wrapped lollies
What to do:
Empty your bag of lollies onto the table and think about what pattern you’d like to make. For instance, do you want a lolly-bauble that shines in just one shade? Or would you like one that is fashioned from different-coloured lollies?
Lay out your lollies in a row in the order you’d like them to appear. Depending on the size of each treat, you’ll generally need around 15 lollies to create one necklace, or around six for a bracelet.
Staple the first two lollies together by overlapping the wrapper ends.
Be careful to ensure that the staple goes through both wrappers and doesn’t set incorrectly, such as with one staple tooth crookedly poking out. The last thing you want is a lolly necklace that scratches your little one!
Continue stapling each lolly to the next, until the chain is long enough to wear as a necklace or bracelet.
Staple the first lolly to the last in the chain to close the necklace. Wear proudly and sample treats when desired!
