How to create Lucy Liu's look from the Golden Globes
Did you like Lucy Liu’s look at the 2013 Golden Globes? Create it yourself!
For this style it's best to start on dry hair — especially hair that hasn't been washed in a couple of days. Flip head upside down and lightly shake OSiS Dust It Matifying Powder onto the roots to add texture and long-lasting hold. Then comb a deep side part.
Starting on the left side, divide hair into three sections and braid back.
Vo suggests adding pieces to the underneath at this step, so the braid sits on top instead of lying flat on the head. Once the braid hits the nape of the neck, secure strands with a rubber band.
Braid the right side just like you did on the left.
When the braid matches the other in length, join the two together and secure on the right side of the head. To hide the rubber band, simply wrap a piece of hair around and tuck in the end.
Next, twist the remaining strands into a fishtail (or if that's too challenging, a braid) and tie it off with a rubber band.
Lock the look in place and keep flyaways at bay with OSiS Freeze Strong Hold Hairspray. Then infuse award-winning shine with a lightweight conditioning shine spray like the OSiS Sparkler Shine Spray.
