It’s official — the king is selling his castle. As Cleveland begins its new season with Lebron James on their roster, he has made the decision to sell his gorgeous Miami pad. And although he is going back home, it’s a shock that he would part with such a slice of paradise in Florida.
Listed at $17 million, there is no doubt that Lebron James owned one of the most magnificent estates in Miami. The 12,178-square-foot home is the absolute definition of the lap of luxury. A waterfront estate, the mansion provides access to the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserves, as well as two docks for a yacht, a private sun deck and this ridiculously amazing infinity pool.
We can’t even begin to fathom the parties that must have been hosted in this lavish outdoor space. With 4,500 square feet available for entertaining in the backyard space, as well as a full-sized outdoor kitchen, the royal pair had plenty of room for the entire Miami Heat roster… and then some.
The James family is looking to make a good $8 million off of their Miami home, which they purchased in 2010 for only $9 million. With six bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms, as well as plenty of living space, there is no doubt that while finding a buyer with that amount of pocket change may prove difficult, it won’t be hard to sell the interior of the house. Here’s why.
The family room and wet bar
And, the killer views…
If that’s not enough to sell potential buyers, then maybe the private water access will sway them.
A beautiful house in and out, it seems that this Miami party house is worth the $17 million listing. It will be interesting who the lucky new filthy-rich owner will be. Whoever it is, we are overtly jealous and would appreciate a party invite soon.
