Jamie, the fabulously inspiring and talented blogger at Anderson + Grant, used her thrifting skills to find this hidden treasure at a consignment store. She took an old cutting board and transformed it into a vintage-style wooden pedestal that's almost identical to a version you would find at Pottery Barn that retails for $90.

How great would one or two of these be for your fall or Thanksgiving table setting to add height and depth to create a dramatic cheese or dessert display when entertaining? It would also work really well on a bar to store wine bottles or glasses.

Visit Anderson + Grant for the full tutorial on how Jamie transformed a consignment-store cutting board into this vintage-inspired wooden pedestal entertaining and serving piece. While you're at it, check out her online shop for some more charming vintage finds.
