Halloween candy gift box
Come the end of October, kids have little on their minds aside from costumes, haunted houses and, of course, candy! For an extra-special Halloween treat, make individual gift boxes that are just right for full-size candy bars.
Before you begin, you'll need a few supplies. Pick up some card stock in traditional Halloween colors like black and orange. No need to stick to just those two colors, however! Think outside the box with colors like purple and green as well. Cruise the aisles of your local craft store for Halloween-themed stickers, ribbons and appliqués to make these individual gift boxes really stand out.
Place candy bar — we're partial to MILKY WAY® — on your choice of card stock and
trace around the edges of the bar.
Score with the cardboard with a ruler and fold into a box to surround the candy bar.
Choose a separate piece of decorative card stock to tape the box to.
Add Halloween stickers, ribbons or appliqués for flair.
Place the MILKY WAY® inside the box.
Give to friends at parties or to trick-or-treaters.
If you pass these individual gift boxes out as Halloween favors, your house will quickly become the most popular one on the neighborhood kids' trick-or-treat route.
