What to pack for the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk

Find out what to pack for the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, and what’s better left at home. SheKnows shares a checklist to get you started!

The 3-Day must-haves

You don’t want to forget these items during your Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk weekend, regardless of what city’s event you’re walking.

  • Sleeping bag
  • Walking outfit for each day
  • Comfy jammies
  • Clean undies and sports bras for each day
  • Washcloth (Towel service is provided for a small fee, and the dry, fresh towels each day are totally worth it!)
  • Flashlight and extra batteries, or headlamp
  • Shoes (Bring two pairs – one for Day 1 and 3, and the other for Day 2 to give your foot support and to prevent pressure on any areas that got rubbed or even blisters on Day 1.)
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Socks (Bring at least 6 pairs, this way you can change into clean dry socks at lunch and your feet will love you for it.)
  • Rain poncho
  • Photo ID
  • Personal medications
  • Waist pack  (When you’re walking you’re going to need your hands free for cheering, clapping, hydrating and doing the power walk arm pumps that energize!)
  • Hat
