Lara Oboler and Marjorie Goldner developed PregPrep to help women conceive

Why is your Pitch a game changer?

M: Copy editor at Cosmopolitan Magazine.

L: Cardiologist.

Who is your biggest advocate?

M: My husband. He is my sounding board, my rock, and truly believes in me and what we are creating for women.

L: Women who have been successful using PregPrep.

Lightbulb moment?

M: My partner, Dr. Lara Oboler, tried to get pregnant for six months before discovering mucolytics, substances that thin cervical mucus so the sperm has an easier time reaching the egg. She took a mucolytic and got pregnant the first month three times and she was 40 when she conceived her third child. We teamed up to bring to any woman ready to have a baby the first therapeutic, over-the-counter product that can truly help them conceive.

Who inspires you this week?

M: My college roommate who has been battling a long illness. She is truly inspirational in her strength, courage and will to appreciate her life and family, smile and have fun despite her recent challenges.

L: My father — living every day to the fullest.

Where do you do your best work?

M: Wherever I have my computer. I have three children and meetings all around the city so I can work from anywhere as long as I have my phone and computer — it's my traveling office!

L: In my small, quiet private office!

Favorite female-led entrepreneurial venture outside your own?

M: My friends Jennifer Fisher and Stacey Fraser have two incredible companies — Jennifer Fisher Jewelry and Pink Chicken children's clothing. They are the souls of their brands and have created beautiful products for women and children that are unique and special. It has been inspiring to watch their businesses grow and become widely successful.

L: My mother started a chain of Montessori schools that have been giving top notch educations to thousands of children over the past 30 years.

In 10 years you will be…

M: Running an international consumer products company geared toward natural products that support women's health.

L: I will be celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary with my husband (and three kids).

Guilty pleasure?

M: Reality TV! I am obsessed with the Housewives of Beverly Hills and NYC!

L: Going to a movie on a "school night."

Favorite book?

M: Marjorie Morningstar by Herman Wouk — haha!
