What does it take to achieve the perfect relationship? This is a question that can be answered a million different ways and which represents something different to each person and every relationship. But thanks to the #RelationshipGoals tweets, we’ve managed to whittle it down to a few key things.
One of the major relationship goals is to be with someone who makes you feel safe and comfortable. That means being with a partner who treats you as an equal instead of their inferior; someone who is willing to communicate their feelings, their fears and their dreams and someone who respects you.

But that’s not to say you can’t get spoilt rotten.
Relationships also work best when there’s an element of surprise to them: taking a romantic break, packing your partner’s lunch before work, running a hot bubble bath for your wife or even bringing your loved one a delicious breakfast in bed.

When you’re in the perfect relationship, you might even be willing to share your food. And giving up that last slice of pizza is no easy task.
But perhaps the biggest relationship goal is to have a love that withstands the test of time.
