t When it comes to the biggest foodie events of the year, Expo West almost always tops the list. Here 80,000 attendees gather to see the greatest new products coming out from over 3,000 big-name and up-and-coming companies. This year, as a member of the press, I had the opportunity of getting a VIP look at some of these fantastic products before the expo even started. I have narrowed down my favorite ideas to these top 10 picks for best, new gluten-free products at Expo West 2014. Some are shipping already and others may not be in stores until early summer, giving you just enough time to get fit before you indulge.

Udi’s gluten-free freezer meals

t Udi’s is hands-down the leader in gluten-free food. Everyone knows and trusts their products to be the best. Well, they have wowed us again with their new gourmet freezer meals. Italian Sausage Lasagna, Rich and Creamy Penne and Cheese (with and without uncured bacon) and Broccoli and Kale Lasagna will make your mouth water in a matter of minutes. Easy to prepare without sacrificing taste, these are sure to please.

Glutino gluten-free multigrain and white bread

t From the company that brought us the perfect gluten-free pie crust and chocolate cream sandwich cookie comes this pillowy soft bread. It is so fantastic that, unlike most gluten-free breads which can only be enjoyed after toasting, this can be eaten right from the bag and will even fool your gluten-eating friends.

Kinnikinnick vanilla wafers

t This is a first for the gluten-free community. In eight years, I haven’t seen or enjoyed a gluten-free version of this childhood classic cookie. I was so excited that Kinnikinnick developed it and did it right. The flavor was spot-on as was the crunchy texture. I see many banana cream pie milkshakes in my future…

PB Crave’s Cookie Nookie peanut butter

t Finally those living gluten-free can enjoy the goodness that is cookie peanut butter. Whether you eat it right from the jar with a spoon or spread on Glutino’s new gluten-free bread for the ultimate sandwich, this is absolutely something you will “crave.”

Live Soda Kombucha

t This flavorful beverage will make a kombucha drinker out of anyone. With its fantastic, naturally sweetened (stevia) flavors like Culture Cola, Living Limon, Sparkling Ginger, Pure Doctor, Revive Rootbeer and Dreamy Orange, this drink that is good for your body will have you begging for more.

Kettle Chips

t Kettle has mastered the perfectly crunchy, kettle-cooked chip with many tasty flavors. This year they are making us bow down for more with the mouthwatering new additions of Sriracha and Sweet Chili Garlic.

Cappello’s Paleo cookie dough

t Who’s says living paleo means no cookies? Definitely not Cappello’s. They have created a paleo cookie dough that would knock the socks off of any foodie. Not too sweet, with just the right amount of vegan chocolate chips, this cookie dough is a win.

Tonya’s Gluten Free Kitchen pretzels

t Whether you like them sweet with cinnamon and sugar or salty, you can finally enjoy a soft gluten-free pretzel that will tantalize your taste buds and remind you of being at the ballpark.

Natural Decadence graham crackers

t Hello childhood favorite! These delicious grahams bring back all the fun memories of campfires and s’mores without all the gluten. They are crunchy and full of that delicious graham flavor that you expect.

Pamela’s Products Figgies and Jammies

t If this doesn’t provide you with a nostalgic experience, I don’t know what will. Another cookie we have yet to enjoy gluten-free, Pamela’s brings back this classic cookie in a big way. These soft and chewy cookies come in four delicious flavors: Mission Fig, Blueberry and Fig, Raspberry and Fig and Strawberry and Fig.

t As you can see, the gluten-free market is growing by leaps and bounds. It is predicted to continue increasing over the next five years. So now that you are equipped with the best new products, I will see you in the gluten-free isle at the grocery store!
