Full disclosure: Going gluten-free isn’t nearly as treacherous as one might think. We might have been singing a different tune 10 to 15 years ago, but nowadays we have plenty of GF products that help us navigate a life free from gluten. Not only that, the wonderful world of food bloggers gives us access to literally hundreds (if not thousands) of gluten-free recipes that are pretty stellar.
But even so, the holidays can be a little rough. Though the main stars of Thanksgiving like the turkey and mashed potatoes are gloriously free from gluten, pumpkin pie and most of the other desserts associated with Turkey Day are not. With just a little research, however, we discovered a treasure trove of dessert recipes that are safe to consume — so we can have our pie and eat it too.
These decadent seasonal desserts prove that gluten-free doesn’t have to mean flavorless.
