Summer Red Wine Sangria

Serves 10

Ingredients:

    t

  • 1 bottle of VOGA Merlot
  • t

  • 1 (15-ounce) can pineapple chunks with juice
  • t

  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • t

  • 1 orange, cut into wedges
  • t

  • 1 lime cut into wedges
  • t

  • 1 peach, pitted, cut into wedges
  • t

  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • t

  • 1/2 cup lemonade or limeade
  • t

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • t

  • 4 shots apricot flavored brandy (optional)
  • t

  • 2 cups vegan ginger ale
  • t

  • Ice cubes
  • t

  • 1 cup pitted fresh cherries

Directions:

    t

  1. Pour wine in a large pitcher and stir in pineapple chunks and juice.
  2. t

  3. Squeeze the juice from the lemon, orange and lime wedges into the wine, removing any seeds.
  4. t

  5. Stir citrus wedges, peaches, strawberries limeade or lemonade, sugar and brandy, if using, into the wine mixture.
  6. t

  7. Chill overnight. Right before serving, stir in ginger ale and ice cubes. Garnish with cherries.
