Today on the Daily Dish, our host Cheyenne Palm shows you how to make a province margarita.
Step 1: Add some kick
Taking a regular margarita glass, wet the rim and add salt and pepper for a little kick to the margarita. This will create an even balance between salty and spicy, something you want in an even balance in any type of margarita.
Step 2: The silver lining
Pour in 1-1/2 ounces of any silver tequila of your choice. No need to go out and purchase the most expensive brand — just use a silver tequila that suits your taste buds.
Step 3: Sour for the hour
Next, add 1/2 ounce of any citrus liqueur of your liking for that zesty flavor. After all, what’s a margarita with a little sweet, but no sour?
Step 4: Pucker up
Take 1 ounce of lime juice and add it to the As in the previous step, this will give your drink just the right kick of sour.
Step 5: Citrus love
Add 1/2 ounce of orange juice.
Step 6: Ice it
Just add ice and top it off with a lime to get that extra pucker and serve chilled. Limes are always a nice way to offset any strong liquor taste. Serve chilled and enjoy!
