Boxed wine no longer has the less-than-stellar reputation it used to have. With classier brands and a new look, boxed wine doesn't necessarily conjure up images of plastic cups and hair curlers. The newest innovation in boxed wine is actually bagged wine -- companies are skipping the box and going straight for the bag.

And now, you can haul your boxed or bagged wine in style, thanks to a brilliant (or slightly silly) invention: the boxed wine handbag, officially called the Baggy Winecoat.

Created by the Scandinavian Design Center, the Baggy Winecoat "gives the popular Bag in Box wines a casual but stylish look! Simply take the wine bag out of the box, place it in the Baggy Wine Coat and close the flexible top. A rubber bottom makes sure the Baggy Winecoat does not tip over; neither on the dinner table, nor on the picnic. If you want to carry your wine with you, just grab the handle and go!"

Don't forget these chocolates that pair nicely with red wine -- boxed or not! >>

With the polyester version that costs $56 or the fancier leatherette boxed wine purse at $80, you'll either be the life or the laughter of the party.

The Yahoo Shine beauty editor who discovered this invention notes that it's a discreet way to haul your vino, but we think it's less concealed and a little more "guess what's in here!"

Tell us:

What do you think about the bagged wine handbag? Are you wishing you knew about the Baggy Winecoat four months ago during prime picnic season or do you think that a purse to tote your boxed wine is just a little too silly?
