Have you been missing McDonald’s McRib sandwich? You’re in luck. For a limited time, all McDonald’s restaurants will serve up the McRib. Keep reading for details.
McRib is making a brief comeback at McDonald’s — again — but you have to grab it while it lasts! McD’s famous rib sandwich was available for a brief time last year in November. That was rumored to be McRib’s last appearance, but it’s baaccckkk.
According to USA Today, the McRib will be available at every U.S. McDonald’s location through Nov. 14. While the McRib is available year-round at some restaurants, it’s apparently difficult to find.
The McRib has a cult-like following, from endless Facebook groups to an actual website called the McRib Locator. Wow. Who knew the fast food sandwich was so loved? If you’re tempted to run out and eat as many as possible before Nov. 14, proceed with caution. One McRib sandwich packs 500 calories (240 from fat), 26 grams of fat, 44 grams of carbs and 980 mg of sodium. Yikes.
Still, based on the number of McRib fans, the nutrition info doesn’t seem to deter a lot of people. So, why in the world can’t you buy a McRib all year long? “Bringing it back every so often adds to the excitement,” Marta Fearon, McDonald’s U.S. marketing director, told USA Today.
And there you have it. If you want a McRib, get in on the hype and hit your local McDonald’s before Nov. 14, when the McRib McDisappears — until next year, at least.
