Living Social has paired up with Whole Foods to bring you the first ever — or at least, Living Social is pretty certain it’s the first ever — chain grocery store deal from a daily deal site. Living Social and Groupon have offered smaller and more local grocery store deals in the past, but nothing with a national chain.

Today, the first one million people to purchase Living Social’s deal will receive $20 in Whole Foods Merchandise for just $10. That gives a new meaning to Whole Paycheck. Maybe for today, the natural and organic food grocer can be called Half Paycheck?

Whole Foods is donating 5% of the sales of these vouchers to Whole Kids Foundation. However, like most good deals, there’s a limit. Once one million Whole Foods vouchers have been sold, it ends. Additionally, each person can only purchase one voucher, meaning that unless there are more than two adults in your home, you’re capped out at $40 worth of groceries for $20.

The deal is available to current Living Social subscribers and new customers. If you’re a customer, you can go directly to the Living Social Whole Foods deal. Otherwise, simply click on over to Living Social, enter your email address and you’re on your way to a cheap(er) Whole Foods shopping experience.

We doubt Bethenny Frankel will be taking advantage of this Living Social deal after Whole Foods declined to continue carrying Skinny Girl margaritas, but the rest of us can!
