World Cocktail Day recipes

World Cocktail Day is May 13, giving you the opportunity to stop in at a pricey cocktail tasting at a trendy bar or, much more affordably, hold your own cocktail tasting at home. Morning SunriseMorning Sunshine

Serves 1Recipe courtesy of Three Olives VodkaIngredients:
1-1/4 ounce Three Olives Tomato Vodka
1/4 ounce basil-infused simple syrup
1/2 ounce orange juiceDirections:
Shake vodka, basil syrup and orange juice with ice in a shaker. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a cherry tomato, orange wedge and a sprig of basil.

Three-O Cherry CosmoThree-O Cherry Cosmo

Serves 1

Recipe courtesy of Three Olives VodkaIngredients:
3 ounces Three Olives Cherry Vodka
1/2 ounce Triple Sec
1 ounce cranberry juice
Splash of fresh lime juiceDirections:
Shake vodka, Triple Sec and juices with ice in a shaker. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a cherry or small bunch of fresh red currants.

Gogh Starry NightGogh Starry Night

Serves 1

Recipe courtesy of Van Gogh Vodka

1 ounce Van Gogh Acai-Blueberry Vodka
4 ounces sparkling rose wine

Pour chilled Van Gogh Acai-Blueberry Vodka into a champagne flute. Top with sparkling rose wine and garnish with a starfruit.

1800 Caipirinha1800 Caipirinha

Serves 1Recipe courtesy of 1800 TequilaIngredients:
5 lime wedges
1/4 ounce agave nectar
1/4 ounce Veev Acai Liqueur
1 ounce 1800 Select Silver TequilaDirections:
Muddle the lime with the agave nectar in the bottom of a high ball glass. Top with ice, juice, acai liquor, and tequila. Shake vigorously and pour all contents into a glass. Garnish with mint leaves.

Raw DiamonRaw Diamond

Serves 1Ingredients:
1 ounce 1800 Select Silver Tequila
1/4 ounce pear puree
1/4 ounce fresh lime juice
1/4 ounce agave nectar

Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice and vigorously shake. Pour into a lightly salted highball glass. Garnish with a lime twist.
