As American consumers look to
incorporate healthier eating choices into their lifestyles, Captain D’s
announced it is adding a new lighter fare menu to its company-owned
restaurants nationwide. Consumers now have the choice of two Captain’s Carb Counter meals.
The Captain’s Carb Counter meals feature baked fish and chicken served with steamed broccoli, seasoned mixed vegetables and a side salad with Ranch dressing. “The consumption of seafood in the US continues to rise year after year in part because of its many reported health benefits,” says Charles Bruce, senior vice president of marketing for Captain D’s. “We want to make sure that our customers have choices when they come into our restaurants. No restaurant chain can offer our quality of seafood, prepared as quickly and as reasonably priced as we can.”
The Carb Counter offerings start at $5.29 and contain 360 calories with 13g net carbs*.
