Chicago (A Four Seasons Hotel) continues to provide the most innovative,
personalized service with the introduction of “Well Chosen,” banquet menu
options designed around guests’ healthy lifestyles.
The original well-balanced catering menus are the result of a collaboration between the award-winning Ritz-Carlton Chicago chefs and a team of nutritionists from Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Wellness Institute. Together, their mission was to marry food science with fine cuisine.
The results speak for themselves, as health-conscious meeting and event planners may now choose from a variety of savory breakfast, lunch and snack options for their corporate meeting or event. These specialized menus assist them in achieving nutritional balance, and increased productivity by controlling carbohydrate, fat, caloric, sodium and fiber content.
Guests may select any of the three daily prix-fixe menus, ranging from Egg White Frittata with Asparagus , Mozzarella, and Tomato Basil Coulis (8g carbs, 2g fiber) and Shrimp and Asian Vegetable Salad Wrap with Lot-Fat Wasabi Mayonnaise (15g carbs, 5g fiber) , to Portobello Mushroom Carpaccio with Mixed Greens and Red Wine Vinaigrette (8g carbs, 2g fiber) and Low-Fat Vanilla Cheesecake with Fresh Strawberries (10g carbs, 0g fiber).
In addition, guests can choose from a selection of snack favorites between meals that will leave your guests feeling energized and satisfied, with such munchies as Low-Carb/High Fiber Chips with Homemade Salsa and Guacamole (12g carbs, 4g fiber per 15 chips) r refreshing High-Protein Berry Smoothies (between 14g and 16g carbs and 1g to 3g fiber).
