Try this roasted red pepper variation on the usual hummus spread!
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can chick peas, drained
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1) Combine garlic, garbanzo beans, tahini and lemon juice in a food processor and blend until smooth.2) Add pepper and basil and process until the peppers are chopped. 3) Chill for at least an hour and serve with pita chips.
