We can’t say for sure when sweets became a staple of our diet, replacing snacks of granola bars and fat-free Greek yogurt, but we have a feeling it has something to do with all of this stay-at-home stuff. I mean, when you’re not getting the stimulation of being around people and going outside, your taste buds start doing double-duty, right? So we got excited — like, really excited — when we heard the latest news from Fixer Upper‘s Joanna Gaines. Though Silos Baking Co., her bakery and cafe in Waco, Texas, is currently closed, that doesn’t mean that they’ve stopped selling the good stuff. We’re talking cookies. Gaines has announced that Silos Baking Co. is now shipping chocolate chip and sugar cookies straight to your door.

Since Silos Baking Co. is still closed here in Waco, we wanted to find a way to send you some of our treats! You can order a batch of chocolate chip or sugar cookies (or both!) at magnolia.com and get them delivered to your home or you can send to a friend! ❤️#SilosBakingCo
The cookies (chocolate chip or sugar) are available by the half-dozen or dozen. You can get a half-dozen for $20, or a full dozen for $35, and while they’re a tasty treat to order for yourself, they also make a great gift – especially if the mere thought of going to the store for cookie ingredients, baking cookies, cleaning the kitchen, and going to the post office is enough to make you start sweating.
According to the Magnolia website (where the cookies are available for ordering), the sugar cookies are butter-rich and topped with crunchy sugar crystals. The chocolate chip cookies are giant – each one is about 5.25″ in diameter. Gaines recommends microwaving them for a few seconds before serving, so they get that gooey-in-the-middle home-baked flavor and texture.
Cookies are shipped Monday-Wednesday, and are delivered within 3 business days if ordered by 2 PM on Wednesdays. If you order after that, they’ll be shipped on the next available day.
A trip to Waco may be out of the question right now, but thanks to Silos Baking Co. shipping their cookies, you can still get a taste of what the Fixer Upper family has to offer.
