Easter falls on April 12th this year, and if your grocery store currently looks anything like ours does, you may be wondering where exactly you’re going to get all of the ingredients you need to put on your annual Easter feast. Then again, some of us may not even feel up to cooking a big meal this year. So what’s a person to do? As usual, it turns out we can rely on Costco to pull through for us when times get tough. They have a solution to your Easter dinner woes, and best of all, it will feed a crowd – or give you the valuable gift of tons of leftovers while you self-isolate.
We’re talking about the Schwan’s Spiral Ham Dinner, which serves eight people total, is on sale for $79.99, and can be delivered right to your door (shipping and handling is included in the price). The meal includes a succulent 8.5 pound spiral sliced bone-in ham, roasted baby baked potatoes, biscuits, sweet corn, petit brussels sprouts, apple pie, and vanilla ice cream. Um, drool!
It comes out to just $11.87 per portion, which is way less than our usual take out order. When you’re done with your feast, you have leftovers that can keep you fed for a few days, whether you enjoy them as-is, or turn them into something else – we see a ham, potato, and corn chowder in our future, and a breakfast of leftover potato home fries and ham on a biscuit sounds pretty delightful too.
When you order this dinner you can choose your delivery date. Just keep in mind that it will take 5-7 days for delivery. The meal is usually $94.99 but is currently $15 off through March 31 or while supplies last, so if you want to get your hands on this Costco Easter feast, you should act now. And if you don’t have a membership, there’s no time like the present to sign up and start saving!
