Sugarfina’s 8 Nights of Light Tasting Box Is Like an Advent Calendar for Hanukkah

Kids may be okay eating bottom-shelf candy for days on end, but adults like us deserve the finer things in life (and, okay, we’ll eat that fake chocolate stuff too, but that’s not the point!). Sugarfina, our fave kinda bougie candy company, understands that. Even better? They recognized that there was a part of the population who weren’t getting the daily dose of candy they deserved during the holidays, and thus the 8 Nights of Light Tasting Box was born.

Sugarfina is known for their fancy, giftable candies that are just as fun to eat as your fave sweets from childhood, but done on a much higher culinary level, and their latest product does not disappoint. It’s a “Hanukkah tasting collection” of Sugarfina candies, like an advent calendar minus the Advent. The calendar is shaped like a menorah. Every day, remove a paper drawer from the calendar and feast on the four Kosher-certified candies inside. When you’re done, flip the paper drawer to the side that depicts a flame and put it back in the calendar, lighting one of the candles on the menorah. It’s the sweetest way to celebrate Hanukkah!

The candies included are Sugar Cookies, Robin’s Egg Caramels, Snow Jellies, Heavenly Sours, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, Chocolate Mints, Mint Chip Milkshake, and Blueberry Jelly Beans. We’ll always have a place in our heart for the waxy taste of milk chocolate gelt, but this stuff is in a whole other league. Speaking from experience, those Robin’s Egg Caramels are nearly impossible to stop eating, and you haven’t had a jelly bean until you’ve had a Sugarfina jelly bean.

The 8 Nights of Light Tasting Collection retails for $20, and is available for purchase online, at Sugarfina stores, and at stores that sell Sugarfina, like Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, and Nordstrom. Whether you buy it as a gift for others or yourself, this 8-day candy buffet will definitely bring some sweetness to your holidays.
