We Got a Sneak Peek of Starbucks’ Holiday Merch, & It’s Gorgeous

We always look to Starbucks as a corporate indicator of seasonal change. In the fall (aka AUGUST), they debut the Pumpkin Spice Latte; they usually release a somehow wildly controversial red or holiday-themed cup in November; and they load their merchandise shelves with reusable holiday tumblers and cups when gift-giving season is upon us. Well, we’re skipping ahead a few months, because Starbucks just gave us a sneak peak of this year’s holiday merch, and it’s so good we just had to share.

This year, the options are totally blinged out.

Even though these products are being released right before snow season, there are four cold cup options and just one tumbler for warm beverages, but the iced-coffee-all-year New Englander inside me can’t complain. Better yet? All of the items are under $25.

First up, there are two new 24 oz Iridescent Cold Cups — one in Bling Platinum and one in Neon Pink.

If the textured finish of those freaks out your fingers, there’s the 24 oz Mirror Glitter Gold Cold Cup.

The next option, the 24 oz Pink Cold Cup, has a smooth outside, but a pink mirror foil insert gives it the appearance of beveled copper.

If you don’t drink coffee, the totally blingy Gold Water Bottle might float your boat.

Last but not least, for traditionalists who prefer a hot peppermint mocha over an iced peppermint latte, there’s a 12 oz Green Confetti Tumbler, which has glittery foil accents.

It’s hard not to impulse buy one of these when the holiday season comes around and you’re waiting in line for your latte, but even if you don’t get one for yourself, at $25 and under they make great gifts for coffee-loving coworkers or that random second cousin whose name you drew in Secret Santa this year.

There’s no telling exactly when these will be available to purchase, but as soon as we know, we’ll update this post.
