Trader Joe’s Adds a New ‘Everything But the Bagel’ Item, But There’s a Catch

When Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend hit shelves in 2017, shoppers were instantly hooked — and quickly realized the seasoning blend of white and black sesame seeds, poppy seeds, sea salt flakes, dried garlic and dried onions was so versatile, its uses extend far beyond merely sprinkling on your cream cheese-layered bagel.

At one point Trader Joe’s even published an Everything but the Bagel Dip recipe to its website — one that folds the seasoning blend and chopped fresh chives into organic sour cream. After all, TJ’s is well aware of how popular this seasoning-blend unicorn has become. So perhaps we should be unsurprised that the brand has finally launched a new TJ’s product for us to obsess over: Everything But the Bagel Greek Style Yogurt dip.

Trader Joe’s Everything But the Bagel Greek Style Yogurt dip is just as magical as the seasoning: It’s merely 60 calories and 5 grams of fat per serving (each serving is 2 tablespoons), and it’ll only set you back about $3.50. According to Business Insider, the product has been spotted in TJ stores located in Memphis, Tennessee and Santa Ana, California. No word from TJ’s yet on whether the product will make its way to the rest of its stores. In the meantime, you can always restock your supply of the everything seasoning (if you can’t find it in stores, Amazon sells shakers for $6.72 each) and make your own Everything But the Bagel dip at home.

The Everything But the Bagel Greek Style Yogurt dip spotting follows a handful of other new Trader Joe’s fall product releases. Last week, TJ’s launched Spiced Chai Black Tea Concentrate and Black Bean & Cheese Taquitos, and prior to that, Pimento Cheese Dip, Chicken Chilaquiles Rojo and Organic Pita Chips With Sea Salt. A particularly exciting new product is TJ’s Organic Creamy Cashew Cultured Yogurt Alternative available in two flavors, strawberry and vanilla. The dairy-free yogurt is made with organic cashews, coconut cream, tapioca starch and organic lemon juice, and sweetened with cane sugar.

It’s shaping up to be a TJ’s-tastic fall for all — well, all of us willing to brave the parking lots, at least.
