Cold weather usually calls to mind warm mugs of hot cocoa and steaming lattes grasped in a mitten-clad hand while the snow falls outside. But if you’re from New England or other places where it gets seriously cold in the winter, you might also be used to seeing people chug 32 ounces of iced coffee in the morning, even when it’s 15 degrees out and the car was covered in ice when they woke up.

This frosty pink shake is made with vanilla soft serve that’s blended with Oreo cookie pieces and peppermint syrup, then crowned with a swirl of sweetened whipped topping.
The shake is a limited-time-only menu item that will be around until the end of the year, so if you’re intrigued, you should try to get your hands on one now. Just make sure you’re wearing warm gloves!
Maybe it’s like eating spicy food or drinking hot tea in the summer — it supposedly has the opposite affect you’d think it does and cools you down. The Oreo cookie peppermint shake might not literally make your body temperature rise, but with each sip you’re sure to get a warm and fuzzy feeling that’ll keep a flush in your cheeks and the warmth of the season in your heart.
