Ina Garten is on fire these days.
Leading up to the release of her cookbook, Cook Like a Pro, on Oct. 23, Garten has wasted zero time sharing tips, tricks and hacks and posting sneak-peek recipes to her social media accounts and her website.
One week ago, the Barefoot Contessa star posted her version of avocado toast: cauliflower toast. And, yes, we double-tapped and pinned it immediately.
And all us Garten groupies have been following her every move, eating it all up — including Queer Eye star Antoni Porowski.
Yesterday, Garten posted a short instructional video showing fans how to make her favorite vinaigrette, lemon vinaigrette. It’s so easy, it only requires four ingredients.

Think it's hard to make vinaigrette? It's really not. This is my favorite lemon vinaigrette, and it couldn't be easier! #BCprotips #CookLikeaPro Combine 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1/2 cup good olive oil, 1 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper in a small glass measuring cup and whisk until combined.
Garten’s big tip? Use the measuring cup to measure and mix at the same time.
“Combine 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1/2 cup good olive oil, 1 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper in a small glass measuring cup and whisk until combined,” Garten wrote in the caption.
Did you catch that? Don’t just use any ole olive oil. Splurge a little and use good olive oil — because Garten said so.
Porowski was also clearly a fan of the video, but he kept his composure, commenting simply, “Legend.”
But here’s the best part: Garten responded, writing, “@antoni Love your show!! xxx Ina.”
It didn’t stop there.
Porowski also double-tapped the photo she posted of herself and Katie Couric a mere hour ago.
You’re quick, ‘ski.
Now, can we get a crossover episode on either Barefoot Contessa or Queer Eye, por favor?
