This New Dutch Oven From Giada De Laurentiis Is at the Top of Our Wish Lists

Pretty much everything about Giada De Laurentiis is picture-perfect, from her megawatt smile to her flawless kitchen. Well, we can add another item to that list, because we just saw the Dutch oven she created with Italian cookware company Lagostina, and we’re in love.

The 4-quart Dutch oven is stainless steel with a copper-bonded base and a hammered copper lid. It’s being released just in time for cooler weather, which means braises, roasts, stews and long-simmered sauces are all on the menu. What better way to make a one-pot meal feel truly special than with an exquisite piece of cookware?

Unlike a bulky electric slow cooker, this pot can easily transition from cooking vessel to serving dish. It has stay-cool steel handles, so you don’t have to worry about burning yourself or your dinner guests when you set it on the table to serve from.

De Laurentiis created the Dutch oven as part of Lagostina’s “Bring Back the Sunday Dinner” campaign, which encourages families and communities to sit down to a shared meal at least once a week.

One-pot meals are a great way to do this. You don’t have to worry about managing multiple dishes on the stove and in the oven, and when it’s time to eat, everybody can just dig in. Anything that makes it easier to share a meal with our loved ones is a win in our book.

The pot is being sold at Macy’s for $100, and it was available on Amazon for $70 but has already sold out. If you want to cook like De Laurentiis this winter, you’d better get your hands on one of these babies soon before they’re all gone.
