Here’s a summer treat we did not see coming: Sugarfina’s Corona Light-flavored candies.
You may have heard that grown-up gummy candies are enjoying a bit of fame lately. The posh, always on-trend Standard Hotel, for instance, announced plans to add CBD-infused gummies to its hotel room minibars. Oh, my! And gummy pickles are out there just waiting for you to snag some and level up your snacky coolness factor.
So, this Sugarfina and Corona Light collaboration shouldn’t have surprised us. But there’s something about a cold Corona that doesn’t immediately lend itself in the imagination to, well, room-temperature gummy candies. But we’re adventurous souls.
There are two versions. But First, Cerveza is an amber gummy bottle that tastes like Corona Light. And Here for a Good Lime, as you may guess, is a tasty lime-shaped gummy inspired by Corona Light Lime.

These beer-based treats are sold individually, packaged in Sugarfina’s super-cute Candy Cubes. But if you want to get all fancy, you can also get them in the chic Corona Light Candy Bento Box — which comes with a bonus — a custom beer bottle opener shaped like a lime. How cool is that?
Sugarfina cofounders Rosie O’Neill and Josh Resnick attribute their brainchild collab to the sex appeal of Corona Light. In a press release, they said, “This is our first beer collaboration and it was a must to partner with Corona Light. Corona Light topped our loyal fans’ list as the ‘sexiest beer,’ so we couldn’t think of a better inspiration than The Light Cerveza combined with a zesty lime essence to create delicious candies perfect for summertime.”
