Whether you have plans to go to a party New Year's Eve or are celebrating right at home, chances are cocktails will be involved.

The reality, though, is that our New Year's plans often end up being pretty expensive, and those drinks are a big part of it. At a time when we’re looking to save money anywhere we can, Aldi just released a trio pack of sparkling wine for $7.99, and we’re getting ready to stock up.

The Cuvée No. 5 Brut Sparkling Tri-Pack would also be a great gift idea if you are going to someone else’s house party or traveling for the holidays, but we’re very much OK with keeping it for ourselves and enjoying it while watching the ball drop from our couch. It's said to have “flavorful notes of dry crunchy fruit, apple, cinnamon, and peach,” so keep that in mind when planning your bar snacks, which for us screams cheese and crusty breads. Aldi recommends trying this tri-pack with soft cheeses or as an aperitif, but don't let that limit you. We can't think of a situation in which it won't be delicious.

Those aren’t the only great wine deals you’ll find this week at Aldi, right down to an $8 bottle of rosé and a bunch of other wine options for under $10. You may even want to stock up for Bellinis the morning after.

This deal varies by store, so you may want to call ahead before heading out or risk celebrating thirsty this New Year's Eve.
