Starbucks Introduces 2 Brand-New Items to Celebrate Fall
Every year, Starbucks-obsessives (hi, that's me) wait with bated breath for two things: the arrival of the pumpkin spice latte and the release of Starbucks' winter cups.
Well, this year, things are getting upended a bit. While the PSL is already in stores, Starbucks is releasing a brand-new beverage on the first day of fall: the maple-pecan latte.
And, as if that weren't exciting enough, they're doing something else new: releasing limited-edition fall cups so you don't have to wait for winter.
I can't be the only one who's freaking out, right?
According to the company, the maple-pecan latte features "warming notes of maple syrup, pecan and brown butter, perfectly highlighting the heart and soul of Starbucks beverages — our signature espresso." Sounds delish, and if you're one of the people who have irrational hatred of the pumpkin spice flavor, then this could be the seasonal beverage you've been waiting for.
Served in one of Starbucks' new fall cups, it'll be hard not to feel like autumn is really here — even if it is going to be in the 90s next week where you live (*cough* Los Angeles *cough*).
Oh, and an added bonus for chocolate lovers: the dark mocha Frappuccino, previously available exclusively at Target, is getting a nationwide rollout on the 22nd too.
So head to your nearby Starbucks on the first day of fall, Sept. 22, to get your taste of the new season.
