Oreo's two new flavors are bringing back major childhood memories
Oreo has been going crazy with new flavors in the past few years, and not all of them hit the nail on the head. But their two latest flavors, which are perfect for summer, totally have me drooling.
Blueberry Pie and Fruity Crisp are their newest flavors, and both sound pretty freaking amazing.
Blueberry pie features a blueberry cream filling sandwiched between two graham cracker-flavored cookies. This variety will be available exclusively at Target starting on June 6th — if you ask me, it's totally worth battling the big box crowd to get your hands on a package.
The Fruity Crisp flavor is really cool. It's sort of a new take on funfetti. You get graham-cracker flavored cookies that are stuffed with a Fruity Crisp cream — a vanilla cream that's studded with fruity and colorful rice crisp bits, a la Fruity Pebbles. You can snag a package of Fruity Crisp Oreos at select grocery stores (including Ahold, Wegmans, HEB, AWG, Hy-Vee, Winn-Dixie, BI-LO, Giant Eagle, Price Chopper and Meijer) for a limited time starting on June 1.
Past Oreo flavors, like watermelon, cotton candy and fruit punch, seemed weird to me. But I think these are going to be really good — both flavors are based on sweet, fruity carbs, so it makes total sense that they'd be great as cookies.
Now, time to go about the important business of clearing out some room in my snack drawer so there will be space for these babies come June.
